The next WWE show will be called “Puppet Masters.”
The WWE Network, which debuted in August, will not feature any puppets.
Instead, it will feature the wrestling superstars and WWE personalities of tomorrow, including NXT, SmackDown, RAW, Smacks and Smackdown Tag Team Champions, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and more.
WWE is making the announcement in an email to fans, and will debut the new series, The New Day, on Wednesday.
“We’re excited to introduce The New Class of The New WWE,” the WWE said in a statement.
“The new series will bring you more than just WWE content, it’s the foundation of WWE and the company’s future.
We look forward to a bright future of wrestling, entertainment, and social media.”
“The New Class” will feature three new members of the WWE: Mark Henry, the new main eventer of Smack Down; the new tag team champions NXT Tag Team Champion Cesaro and AJ Styles; and WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt.
WWE added the WWE Universe to the network’s roster last year to help build buzz for the new shows.
