Vancouver Whitecaps are looking to add some more firepower to their midfield

B.C. Place in Vancouver is home to the Vancouver Whitecap FC, a professional soccer team which competes in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) and the Vancouver Arenas Premier League (VPL).

The team was formed in 2012 and plays in the NPSL as well as the VPL.

The team is known for their high-paced attacking style, which is complemented by the defense, which has featured two top goal scorers in Aaron Pitchkolan and David Guzman.

Vancouver’s current roster features: -Goalkeeper: Aaron Pitchko: 35 years old (2013), 37 years old -Defender: David Guzmán: 23 years old, 25 years old *David Guzman is Vancouver’s second highest-rated player with a goal and an assist in 2017.

-Forward: Christian Bolanos: 22 years old: 22 goals, 8 assists in 2018 -Forward Kevin Fagan: 21 years old and 25 goals in 2018.

-Midfielder: Aaron Piqué: 25 years young (2016), 24 years old.

-Centerback: Kevin Foye: 20 years old; 21 goals, 5 assists in 2017 -Forward James Rocha: 21 year old; 19 goals, 4 assists in 2016.

-Defensive midfielder: David Edgar: 20 year old and 24 goals in 2017, 21 goals and 6 assists in 2019.

*In 2018, Edgar joined the Whitecaps as a homegrown player, a move which was the catalyst for his promotion to the team’s first team in 2018 and a move that has helped propel Vancouver to two consecutive MLS Cup titles.

Vancouver’s next match will be at home on May 16 against the New York Red Bulls.

Vancouver will also host the Houston Dynamo on May 21, followed by the LA Galaxy on May 22, and the Portland Timbers on May 25.
