Tampa Bay, FL – The Tampa Bay Times-Union reported that Lightning defenseman Andrej Sekera will miss two weeks with a lower body injury.
The injury occurred in a preseason game against the Montreal Canadiens on Oct. 26.
Tampa Bay’s next game is at the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday, Oct. 29.
It’s not known if Sekera is eligible to return.
The Lightning had an 8-1-0 record when Sekera was sidelined with the injury.
He was 4-5-1 with a 2.71 goals-against average, .914 save percentage and five shutouts.
