It’s time to get rid of your agent.
And this article will show you exactly how to do it.
It’s been years since we’ve had a “greater good” agent.
So when the news broke last year that the Dallas Mavericks would be using the $90 million dollar salary cap for their 2018-19 free agent class, we didn’t think much of it.
It was one of those times when you were “just in the moment.”
But now, we are not so sure anymore.
We’re in a state of flux, with several agents in need of replacing.
There are those who are not going anywhere, but there are others who are going to be in need as the season draws closer and players become available.
And the reality is, even if the Mavericks decide to go with the current $90M salary cap, many players will not be available.
And as a result, many agents will not want to deal with those agents who are willing to take a shot at that money.
Let’s take a look at what the market is looking at, and then figure out what you can realistically expect from a few agents.
The Basics of the Salary CapWe have a number of agents in our offices and have an extensive knowledge of what players are currently on the market.
We can easily tell if the market for that player is strong enough to be worth negotiating with, and we have a great feel for where those players are on the cap.
If you need to negotiate with a player on the free agent market, you’re best off taking their offer.
So what are the most common reasons why a player won’t want to take your offer?
There are a few different reasons, but the main ones are:They’re not ready to sign with your organization.
You’ll get better offers if you do that, but they might not be worth the money.
They’re too expensive.
They can’t sign.
There’s nothing to be gained by taking a chance on them.
There are also some legitimate reasons why the player will want to be released or traded.
It could be that they want to leave a team and/or that he’s a restricted free agent, and he has a better chance of getting released if you don’t offer him what he wants.
If they’re not willing to pay you that amount of money, there’s little you can do.
You’ll likely be dealing with some pretty bad players out there, so you may want to try and get something done.
There may be an agent or two out there who can help you.
And if you’re dealing with a big name agent like Joe Dumars or John Hammond, you’ll have to be creative.
They have a reputation for being tough and demanding, and it’s likely they’ll want to do something to get their client out of your sight.
So, what to do?
The first thing to do is figure out how much money you can make on the player.
This can be done with free agent offers, salary cap numbers, or any number of other tools you may have available.
But for now, let’s assume that you can negotiate with that player and find a deal that’s reasonable for both parties.
Let us say you have $10 million to work with on a player who’s out there on the open market.
This player is available for the Mavericks and is expected to be a restricted-free agent next summer.
You might want to pay him $5 million a year.
So you’ll start off with a little under $10,000 per month on a five-year contract.
Next up is a player like Anthony Davis.
The Knicks are in the market to add him, and they’ve already signed him to a four-year, $40 million contract.
They’ll pay him the $18.5 million average salary, which is about what he’ll make in 2019-20.
Next up, the Lakers have an offer for him that’s slightly more than what he would earn under the new cap.
So if you can get him to the Lakers, you’ve got a good deal on your hands.
Next, we have the Nets.
The Nets are trying to land Chris Paul and he is a free agent.
They want $30 million over five years for him.
If you can put a deal together with the Nets, you can expect to get about $15 million.
Next comes a player such as Kawhi Leonard.
The Spurs are looking for a big man with a high upside and a $15-million offer.
He’s coming off a career year, but his cap hit is still more than $18 million.
So, you could be looking at about $20 million to sign him.
And finally, there are some players who are on a one-year deal or less and are expected to get much more.
These are players like LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
They both would get about the same amount under the cap as you would if you were dealing with
